Curriculum Framework

The FutureConnect K-12 curriculum framework consists of the following:

Organizing principles that can be integrated across the curriculum;

Each organizing principle benchmarks content standards at grades 4, 8, and 12;

Performance indicators, content taught on a daily basis, are listed for K-4, 5-8, and 9-12;

Essential questions for assessment are provided for each section of the framework to ascertain student performance along the way to competency;

Project-based learning activities will be coded to the organizing principles and benchmarked grade levels, i.e., K-4, 5-8, 9-12;

A multitude of references will be provided;

A narrative vocabulary of words and phrases.
